		ENERGY HEALING Energy healing is a way of re balancing the body back to it’s normal healthy state by removing stagnant or diseased energy and sending into the body and energy field what is known as life force energy, bio energy, chi energy, reiki energy, zero point energy, prana energy, or quantum energy. This is done by the healing practitioner actively drawing healing energy into his/her body and sending energy to the client for the purpose of restoring balance and health to the body. How can energy healing benefit those suffering with cancer? Energy healing has many benefits not only for the body but for the mind/emotions and spirit as well. Some of the benefits of energy healing may include: Creates deep relaxation and aids the body to release stress and tension, It accelerates the body’s self-healing abilities, Aids in better sleep, Reduces blood pressure, May help reduce the side effects/pain of chemo, radiation, and surgery, Helps relieve chronic and acute pain Removes energy blockages, adjusts the energy flow of the endocrine system bringing the body into balance and harmony, Assists the body in clearing itself of toxins, Increased vitality Raises the vibrational frequency of the body, Helps in clearing emotions such as anxiety, fear, anger, sadness, guilt etc When we are relaxed and stress-free, we are able to restore our natural ability to heal. When a person has cancer, regular energy healing therapy will increase the bodies built-in defenses. This will manifest itself as confidence and outward harmony in dealing with everyday events. Energy healing helps a person gain a more positive outlook on life. Energy healing may also provide the additional energy required to recover from cancer. Chi means the same as Prana in Sanskrit, and Ti or Ki in Hawaiian. It has also been called odic force, orgone, and bioplasma. It has been given many other names by the various cultures that have been aware of it. Chi is the life force. It is also called the vital life force or the universal life force. This is the nonphysical energy that animates all living things. As long as something is alive, it has life force circulating through it and surrounding it; when it dies, this life force departs. If your life force is low, or if there is a restriction in its flow, you will be more vulnerable to illness. When it is high, and flowing freely, you are less likely to get sick. Life force plays an important role in everything we do. It animates the body and also is the primary energy of our emotions, thoughts and spiritual life. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body. [So] we are alive because [this] life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the aura. The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body. Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way. The Chinese place great importance on the life force or what they call Chi. They have studied it for thousands of years and have discovered there are many different kinds of Chi. The ”Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine” which is over 4,000 years old, lists thirty-two different kinds of Chi or Ki. Chi is used by martial artists in their physical training and mental development. It is used in meditative breathing exercises called Pranayama, and by the shamans of all cultures for divination, psychic awareness, manifestation and harmony. Chi is the nonphysical energy used by all healers. Chi is present all around us and can be accumulated and guided by the mind. CHI LEL China boasts “the world’s largest medicineless” hospital - the Huaxia Zhineng Qigong Center. Patients are called students here and treatment consists solely in the strengthening of the student’s belief in the healing power of chi or life force energy, as well as the daily practice of easy-to-follow ancient Qigong movements to bring healing energy from the universe to each individual, complemented by the emission of chi from teachers to students. The students‘ belief is built by listening to testimonials of recovered patients (who often become teachers) and learning about chi and its healing effects. Tens of thousands of documented healings over a period of eight years have been collected (including miraculous recoveries from “incurable” diseases such as cancer, diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, severe depression, paralysis, and systemic lupus). The most dramatic healings involve using chi for treating cancer: e.g. a bladder cancer patient was being treated by four teachers while the patient's bladder was being monitored ultrasonically by two western-trained doctors. The cancer on the screen literally disappeared in front of people’s eyes in less than a minute as the teachers simultaneously emitted chi into the patient, dissolving the cancer! This amazing feat and several other spontaneous cancer healings were videotaped in 1995 by the author of “101 Miracles of Natural Healing”, with similar spontaneous remissions being filmed by a major German TV station crew.. REIKI Reiki is a non-invasive therapy that passes subtle energy from one being to another to help promote well-being. No pressure or tissue manipulation is used. Those trained in the art of Reiki therapy tap into the infinite supply of healing energy in the universe and transfer it to others by laying their hands on or slightly above different areas of the body. These regions usually include the head, shoulders, stomach and feet which together take in the body’s seven chakras, the energy centers of our body. Reiki does not require any equipment. It can be performed on those lying down, sitting up or standing, and it’s done through the clothing. It helps relieve tension, anxiety and fear. Responses to Reiki treatments vary from person to person but most experience a deep feeling of relaxation and peace. Some people fall asleep during treatment and awaken feeling refreshed and more positive about their future. After decades of often disputed validity, the effectiveness of Reiki, a holistic energy treatment is gaining new respect within the medical community. Not only are highly reputable medical facilities throughout the U.S. offering patients alternative healing programs such as Reiki, those facilities are analyzing the benefits of their programs and are submitting them for review and compilation. The results of these Reiki research studies are nothing short of remarkable. TAI CHI Tai chi is often described as "meditation in motion," but it might well be called "medication in motion." There is growing evidence that this mind-body practice, which originated in China as a martial art, has value in treating or preventing many health problems. And you can get started even if you aren't in top shape or the best of health. There are strong indications that Tai Chi influxes oxygen throughout the body in ways different from any other exercise. Increase blood oxygen saturation and diffusion may have beneficial effects on cancer treatment, and possibly even prevention. A study conducted by Dr. Peter Gryffin demonstrated a significant effect among 31 subjects on increased blood oxygen saturation during the practice of Tai Chi, ranging from one to three points. These results indicate an effect on the body related to oxygen use that is significantly different from conventional exercises. According to the literature, mild forms of aerobic exercise such as walking result in no change, while strenuous exercise can result in a decrease in blood oxygen saturation up to 10 points or more. Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize in science for discovering a link between cancer and oxygen deficiency. Warburg found that cancer cells occur in areas of oxygen deficiency (hypoxic areas). Warburg found that cancer results in the replacement of respiration of oxygen (oxidation of sugar) in normal body cells with fermentation of sugar. In this low-impact, slow-motion exercise, you go without pausing through a series of motions named for animal actions — for example, "white crane spreads its wings" — or martial arts moves, such as "box both ears." As you move, you breathe deeply and naturally, focusing your attention — as in some kinds of meditation — on your bodily sensations. Tai chi differs from other types of exercise in several respects. The movements are usually circular and never forced, the muscles are relaxed rather than tensed, the joints are not fully extended or bent, and connective tissues are not stretched. Tai chi can be easily adapted for anyone, from the most fit to people confined to wheelchairs or recovering from surgery. "Tai Chi strengthens the immune system," says James Man. "It can balance the body when you practise it regularly, and breathe properly. It helps a person take in more oxygen than a normal person. It improves respiration and raises the internal core temperature of the body." Most general chronic diseases and non-active ailments can be treated with these exercises. There are no exercises to avoid in Tai Chi, because it's good for the body and helps cleanse you internally -ridding the body of toxins. It improves the bioenergetics of the body and the blood. All the internal aspects of the body move quicker. The chi works on every cell. It works on the cell walls and prevents the spread of cancer. Cancer can't stick to the cells because they are moving so fast. I am not saying it will take cancer out of the body, but practicing Tai Chi does make it easier to control." QIGONG Life is a Meaningful Flow of Energy There are many approaches in restoring yin-yang harmony, such as acupuncture, herbalism, massage therapy and external medicine, but the most direct and natural is Qigong. Qigong, also spelt as "qigong" in Romanized Chinese, is the art of energy. Life, most life scientists today agree, is a meaningful flow of energy. If the flow is disrupted, illness or even death may occur. The forte of Qigong training is to increase energy level and ensure its harmonious flow. This meaningful flow of energy occurs at all levels of life. For example, at the organic level when radiation becomes stronger, such as when we go into the sun, numerous mechanisms will trigger off the right responses to adjust to the changing environment. At the cellular level when carcinogens seeps into cells, just the right amount of hormones (many of which are still unknown to modern science) will be produced to neutralize the adverse effect of the cancer-causing chemicals. In Chinese medical terms, this is known as harmonious chi flow. Effects of Qigong on Body Cells Recent research using modern scientific methods and instruments has shown some encouraging facts about the effect of chi or energy on body cells. It has been discovered that 50% of cancer cells in a cultured dish were killed after a Qigong master has transmitted chi into them after 5 minutes -- without affecting other healthy cells. It is also discovered that the DNA pattern of a sick person is slightly different from that when he is healthy, and harmonizing energy flow through Qigong training can restore the healthy DNA pattern. If medical researchers place the interest of cancer patients above pride and prejudice, vested interest and group pressure, they should at least conduct further tests to honestly investigate if these claims are true. Benefits of Qigong for Cancer Patients It may be assuring to some cancer patients to know that practicing Qigong, even if it does not bring the desired cure, cannot make their illness any worse. Even if total recovery is not achieved, their quality of life is almost certain to improve. They will, amongst other benefits, be able to eat and sleep better, experience less pain, have more energy, and most important of all regain their hope and will to live. But they should aim for complete cure, for to be healthy is their birth-right. They should also realize that they need to practice Qigong, and not just some gentle exercises mistakenly regarded as Qigong. A crucial criterion is that they should be able to purposefully improve their energy flow. Better still, they should enter into what is known as a Qigong state of mind whereby in this heightened state of consciousness, they can subconsciously instruct the millions of new cells born every moment to be healthy and wholesome, and not automatically follow the cancer pattern of their predecessors. All these can be achieved, for good health is our natural birth-right. PRANIC HEALING This is deeper form of energy healing using Reiki and Divine energies. Traditional reiki healing typically blasts you with energy. Receiving just the energy does not provide a complete healing. Pain is caused by energy blockages in your system. These blockages are in the subtle bodies (emotional, mental ethereal) and in the physical. True healing requires the blockages to be cleared first. Once the blockages are cleared then reiki or divine energies can be transmitted to induce the healing. The Pranic Healing process is 60-80% clearing of all blocked energies and 20-40% transmission of Reiki or Divine energies (energizing). A good healer is a person that is himself/herself vibrating at a higher frequency and through this is able to transmit the highest level of divine energies. If the healer's inner light is vibrating at the power of 100watts it is not possible for the healer to bring in 1000 watts of power into his/her system. Tumors and cancer are manifested when an organ is congested with negative (blocked/dirty energy). In many cases the chakras are congested and require cleansing. For instance anger, resentment and hatred over activate the solar plexus chakra, meng mein and basic chakras. Over time with harboring of negative emotions can result in development of lung cancer. Pranic healing through chakra cleansing and energy balance can help activate the healing process. It is important that energy healers understand that cancer patients have under activated upper chakras [heart (4th) and third eye (6th) ] which requires cleansing and activation through energizing. The lower chakras [Solar plexus and below] are already over activated and must not be energized. Energizing the lower chakras can make the cancer worse. Healers should only cleanse the dirty yellow/red energy from these lower chakras (without any form of energizing). Proper diet is a very important factor in healing cancer. The cancer patient's body is extremely grayish in energy. The grayish energy adversely effects expelling of diseased energies in the body. Meat contains vast amounts of grayish red and grayish yellow energy, which only worsen the condition. Hot spicy foods contain a lot of red prana and hence should be avoided. Fish is a cleanser, but under cancerous conditions it is best to avoid fish as well. A pure vegetarian diet especially high prana vegetables help expel diseased energies (avoid vegetables and fruits that make the body feel "hot'). Emotions must be balanced. Irritability, anger, resentment, all sense of hopelessness, negative thoughts and emotions must be avoided as these energize and contribute to the cancer. Positive attitude, tolerance, forgiveness, peace, happiness, joy, warmth, kindness, love and hope must be encouraged as these positive attributes produce the pink healing/cleansing pranic energy on all the chakras and meridians. Rose oil contains a lot of pink prana. One drop of rose oil in a liter of water is sufficient. Drinking rose oil water (or water with a rose quartz crystal immersed for at least 4 hours) helps nourish pink prana. It is best to avoid alcohol. CHAKRA HEALING The energy field (otherwise known as the aura) that surrounds, penetrates, and binds the body-mind-spirit is in a perpetual state of activity. It is constantly in motion, continuously taking in and sending out vibrating energy waves through openings in the aura (otherwise known as chakras). The human energy field processes signals of energy created by one's actions, thoughts, and emotions as well as by one's environment and lifestyle choices (exercise, food, sleep, etc). When someone thinks and chooses in a manner that is consistent with love and with their agreed upon path in life, they experience abundant energy and vibrant health. A chakra may be a wheel or a vortex, but it operates like a ball of energy interpenetrating the physical body. The chakras themselves are not physical; you can’t see them on an X-ray. They are aspects of consciousness, and they interact with the physical and energetic body through two major vehicles, the endocrine system and the nervous system. Each of the seven chakras is associated with one of the nine endocrine glands, and also with a particular group of nerves, called a plexus, making them important elements in healing. Thus, each chakra corresponds with particular parts of the body and particular functions within the body controlled by that plexus or that endocrine gland, which is they key to understanding how chakra healing methods work. The chakras represent not only particular parts of your physical body, but also particular parts of your consciousness. Your consciousness, how you perceive your reality, represents everything it is possible for you to experience. All of your senses, perceptions, and possible states of awareness can be divided into seven categories, and each of these categories can be associated with a particular chakra. When you feel tension in your consciousness, you feel it in the chakra associated with the part of your consciousness experiencing the stress, and in the parts of the physical and energy body associated with that chakra (see the energy body / chakra healing flow diagram below). Where you feel the stress depends therefore on why you feel the stress. When you are hurt in a relationship, you feel it in your heart. When you are nervous, your legs tremble and your bladder becomes weak. When there is tension in a particular part of your consciousness, and therefore in the chakra associated with that part of your consciousness, the tension is detected by the nerves of the plexus associated with that chakra and communicated to the parts of the physical and energy body controlled by that plexus. When the tension continues over a period of time or reaches a particular degree of intensity, it creates a symptom on the physical level and requires chakra healing to resolve. Again, the symptom serves to communicate to you through your body what you have been doing to yourself in your consciousness. energy-body-flowthe path of energy to physical symptoms through the chakras. regularly practicing chakra healing techniques can reverse many physical symptoms of disease and illness. Just like thirst (by the time you feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated), the physical symptom belies a long-standing energy body imbalance. In order to reverse it, physical change may be required first as well as chakra healing practices. When we change something about our way of being, we can release the stress that has been creating the symptom(s), and then we can return to our natural state of balance and health It is the ability to love that keeps the energy chakras open and flowing. So when one thinks and chooses from fear, power, lack, negativity, or selfishness, the flow of energy is blocked. Dis-ease then occurs in the body-mind due to imbalances and blockages in the energy field resulting from how little one has honored the needs of body-mind-spirit and respected their path. These blockages deprive the area of the body-mind being fed by the chakra by restricting the flow of energy to below what is necessary for good health. Since there is more than one chakra, energy will continue to reach the total body-mind despite the blockages. However, the areas around the blocked chakra slowly get diseased. Such blockages do not occur evenly or randomly across the body. They occur in the chakra associated with "the area of life" where the individual is not acting in a manner that is consistent with love and/or their path in life. Persistent blockages manifest as problems which can be as minor as infrequent pain and as major as cancer. To truly heal illness usually requires a life change ultimately leading to a personal life more connected to the core of one's being. It leads us to that deeper part of ourselves called the Higher Self. And when we refuse to be led, the consequences can become severe and dramatic. We descend into our own personal hell... and we build it brick by brick, one day at a time. No one chakra is better than the others or more important than any other in the process of energy body balancing and chakra healing. You don’t want to have extra heart chakra energy and less throat chakra energy; it simply doesn’t work like that. Ideally, all seven of your chakras are healed, balanced, open, and humming, allowing energy to flow into and out of your body. The amazing thing is that your body is going to find a way to move energy in and out (unless, of course, your ego self is telling it to hold on to something). If one of your chakras is closed or underactive, there is a very good chance that another chakra will be overactive to make up the difference. Because your body wants to achieve energetic balance in your chakras, moving too far in either direction (underactive or overactive) in any one chakra can actually yield negative effects in your body and be counterproductive to the energy body and chakra healing process. An underactive chakra kicks another chakra into overdrive, which in turn pulls extra energy away from that part of the body. The descriptions below show how you may act or feel when your chakras get knocked out of balance and need healing. The first one lists the physical systems associated with each chakra and the potential physical symptoms that may tell you something’s out of whack. MEDITATION AND HEALING Meditation techniques that bring joy with connection to the divine with focus on cleansing chakras is encouraged as daily practice. Repeat this affirmation while in the joyful meditative state: " My mind, body and emotions are being cleansed. They are assimilating the divine healing energy. My chakras, meridians, and every particle of my body are being cleansed, energized and healed. I am being made whole. I am being healed. I willingly and gratefully accept the divine healing energy with my deepest thanks and full faith". Meditation has the potential to literally transform the world. In 1978, what is known as the “Maharishi Effect” took place when a group of 7000 individuals over the course of 3 weeks were meditating in hopes of positively effecting the surrounding city.  They were able to literally transform the collective energy of the city which reduced global crime rates, violence, and casualties during the times of their meditation by an average of 16%. Suicide rates and automobile accidents also were reduced with all variables accounted for. In fact, there was a 72% reduction in terrorist activity during the times at which this group was meditation. The same study was witnessed when war deaths in Lebanon dropped by 76% when neighboring Israel participated in peace creating assemblies. In 1987 Merseyside had the third highest crime rate of the eleven largest Metropolitan Areas in England and Wales; by 1992 it had the lowest crime rate (255,000 less crimes) as a result of group meditating. Almost 50 studies have been done further confirming the benefits of global meditation and it's direct impact on everything in the world, even so far as to have the results published in the Journal of Crime and Justice in 1981. Meditation takes your consciousness to the implicate levels of existence where your intentions have consequential effects on the explicate level that we interact with before it even manifests. Consciousness gives rise to the material. The key idea is that all of existence emanates out of a field of universal consciousness. We would like to utilize quantum energy and universal consciousness to heal sick individuals. There are 2 projects that we are very passionate about at Alternative Hope. Project 1. It is our goal to create a mass meditation group that would facilitate the manifestation of optimal health towards an individual that may be battling an physical or emotional illness. There are several mass meditation groups that focus their intentions on a specific result during meditation. Rather than create a large group from scratch, it will be much more logical to put together a platform from which individuals can help combine the large groups that are already growing in numbers into one incredibly massive group. It is understood that it would be much more simple for 10 project coordinators to gather 1,000 people to meditate for a specific cause, than one person trying to coordinate the entire project. The goal is to coordinate 10,000 individuals to meditate on the health of a test subject for 30 days. After the 30 days we will gather the data and evaluate it. If our expectations are correct and the test subject returns to a healthy status we will begin to put a system in place for universal healing. Project 2. Our organization is presently comprising a list of distant energy healers. The list is extremely long and it will be growing monthly. We know that advanced energy healers can heal a person by themselves or with just a few people. Now if the effort of 5 practitioners can dissolve a tumor in minutes imaging the possibilities of 5,000 distant healers acting in unison to heal an individual's illness. This experiment will be conducted for 30 days as well on a different test subject. We also put a system in place to utilize this healing modality on a regular basis, once we have data that supports our theory.
